I write to you after another devastating episode of deadly violence has happened in our country this week.  It feels essential to acknowledge this, to join together as we let our hearts break, and to take a strong stance against hate crimes and violence.

When I was in my 20’s and involved in activism of many kinds, I struggled with the idea that to change the outer world-- the big systems of societal oppression and inequality-- one has to work on the inner world of personal healing and growth.  Given that I choose the path of becoming an acupuncturist and immersing myself in health and wellness for the past 20 years, I guess I must have found some truth in that, despite not fully understanding the meaning at the time.

“World peace must develop from inner peace.”
-Dalai Lama

This quote has given me solace and strength over the past year as we, individually and collectively, have responded to a myriad of different challenges.

Each day I try to find as much peace in my body as possible, to keep my nervous system as calm as I can, and to share this with each person I encounter.  And that is a great, great honor.

Thank you,

Kara and the FG team

A Word on Patience

Given the uncertainty of our times, patience is an important quality that can help to keep our lives, families, jobs and health running smoothly.  In particular, the use of patience can't be overstated enough when facing the challenges present in the ups and downs of infertility.

Pandemic Update

We're grateful that we've been able to continue our services throughout the pandemic and are happy to announce that all of our practitioners have received their COVID vaccinations! We will continue our current COVID procedures as recommended by the CDC, however, we are opening an option to do your check-in face-to-face instead of over the phone (masked and 6 feet apart). Just come into the clinic at your appointment time. If you feel more comfortable continuing with phone check-ins, please continue to do so!
