Pregnancy

Helping women navigate the special-and sometimes challenging-transition to motherhood.

Would you like to do everything you can to support your baby’s health and well-being in utero?

Would you like to do everything you can to prepare for a smooth labor and delivery?

Are you experiencing troublesome symptoms like intractable nausea, vomiting, fatigue, insomnia, anxiety or depression related to your pregnancy?

Are you facing challenging complications such as gestational diabetes, high blood pressure, needing an induction or C-section, or possibly having a baby that is small for date (IUGR)?

Would you like additional physical and emotional support as you navigate this important time?

Pregnancy is a time of constant change and lots of questions. Having someone to walk you through the changes, carefully address symptoms as they arise, and offer you specialized, individualized care along the way can be enormously helpful and comforting.

At Fertile Ground Women’s Health and Fertility Center, our team of skilled and empathetic practitioners will be an experienced shoulder you can lean on for professional advice and ongoing support.

Our practitioners work with your body’s natural healing capabilities to restore balance and find harmony during a time when there is so much changing, physically and emotionally.

Based on your unique symptoms, needs, and goals, our treatment recommendations may include acupuncture; Chinese medicine, including moxibustion and other modalities; Maya Abdominal therapy; lifestyle changes; and supplement, dietary or herbal recommendations.

Our gentle and relaxing treatments can:

Excellent care throughout pregnancy, during labor and delivery and also postpartum can have a significant positive impact not only on your short-term well-being, but also on your long-term health and future fertility.

With the right support, you can emerge from pregnancy healthier than when you conceived and your pregnancy can be a powerfully transformative time.

Give yourself and your baby the gift of a more balanced body and improved health during these precious 9 months (and beyond).
